IEP - Goals and Objectives
An IEP can have many goals. A goal can have many objectives. SchoolExtra Campus uses a hierarchical tree to show the relationship between goal(s) and objective(s).

The Present Level of Performance (PLEP), Transition Needs and Services (when applicable) are to be completed. The PLEP can be stated in entirely for all areas, or specifically for each goal.

Hyperlinks within the editor allow you to locate and insert text from the Goal and Objectives Template Bank.  By using the Goal Bank, it will assure compliance to state requirements.  Additional goals you would like added to the bank can be submitted to special education administrators.

When the Template Bank containing goals and objecives is clicked (small folder icon),
the list of goals is displayed in a new window. Click the "plus sign to view each list.  Click on the goal to insert the item into the IEP.  Objectives will be provided for editing.

Personalize the goal or objective by replacing the various blanks with names and pronouns and/or directly typing additional comments. REMEMBER, the  Present Level(s) of Educational Performance, (required) must document the need for the goal.

The Objective Editor displays the text of the goal the objectives will be associated with. All goals and objectives are to be edited to the specific needs of the individual learner.  Failure to do so, and the goals will not save.
