Campus Basics

Calendars are used to describe a building, the staff, daily schedule, and other attributes unique to each building. You must have rights to a calendar before you are able to access students in that building.

However, if you are listed on the student's IEP Team, you will also have access to that student. Therefore, by adding someone outside the school calendar, they will be able to access students. The Team Member section details the correct method of adding team members.

Rights to view, write, or read and write are assigned in the Team Tab as well. Case Managers have all rights, including the ability to delete documents. Other members should be assigned "service provider" allowing the ability to write on the document, or merely view only the printed document.

The Evaluation Summary Report and IEP should be locked upon completion of the document. It is not considered complete until the box "Plan Complete" is checked, and saved. Overdue alerts will show until the lock is applied to the document.

Home Access
A simple process is available to teachers who care to have access to Campus in their home. The technology department of the Saint Paul Public Schools provides us with a secure access point through using iChain.
